‘You cannot settle out of court. You are faced with what seems like an impossibility – fixing an image which you can tolerate. What can be where?'. Philip Guston

I was serious about drawing and painting as a child, but stopped when I went to college.

Some twenty years later, after a career as a TV documentary producer, and then as a Director of a creative consulting firm, I found myself wanting to make art again.

I joined a weekly life-class, and was soon taking a range of short public courses. This website features work made predominantly in those classes.

My next step is, I hope, to become a better painter. I'll be concentrating on painting, with a longer, more rigorous process of composition.
